Hi folks -
Alfa Season in New England keeps rolling along, with more great AONE events
that keep popping up for our members to take part in! The September
edition of Velocissima, the newsletter of Alfa Owners of New England, is
now online at http://www.velocissima.com, and you can get the scoop on
them, plus lots of other Alfa-centric reports, photos, videos, and
articles, to wit:
* Events:
- The First Actual AONE Blues'n'Brews Cruise is
set for September 27th - rain or shine!
- The Pasta Fazoom Italian Car Cruise in New York
State runs September 28th
* Making Sense - Mainly photos - and video! - from
the sensuous August 2nd gathering at the
New Hampshire Vintage Celebration
* Conventional Wisdom - Musings from the 2003 AROC
National Convention - Part 2 - by Brian Shorey
* Tech Topics - Stuck In Gear - Transmission woes
and prose - by Steve Thomas
* Vinci Per Noi! - An AONE Alfa shines at the COMSCC
time trails - by Stephan de Pinasse
* The Club Store - Loosen up those purse strings and
*buy* somethin'!
* Classified Ads - Good stuff cheap (or at least
reasonable)!
And don't forget to download this month's AONE calendar wallpaper, with
Paul Glynn rounding a turn in his Giulietta racer at NHIS during the New
Hampshire Vintage Celebration!
The "Blues'n'Brews Cruise" on the 27th is going to be a blast! It's an
Alfa tour around the back roads of north-central Massachusetts, ending up
at the second annual Central Massachusetts Blues'n'Brews Festival,
featuring several big-name blues bands, barbecue and other great food, and
tastes provided by many of our regions's best microbreweries. Check out
all the details at http://www.velocissima.com and join the fun if you're
going to be in the area!
