v6 maf conversion

Anyone ever convert an L-jet equipped V6 (such as a milano) to a mass air
flow sensor (MAF)?

 

This is a pretty common upgrade for BMW's and since it is possible to use a
BMW air flow meter on a V6 I was wondering if anyone has ever done this.

 

That being said, all the conversions I've found for BMW's are for Motronic
systems and have not found any direct replacements for L-jet equipped cars.
