bad runnin spider update

preliminary reports indicate that the problem 
was linked directly to the fuel filter. multiple
ever expanding trips around the block reveal that
the car is now running smoothly, with much more
power than before. should have done this at least
last year =)

thanks much to all who offered suggestions. checks
of various wires and hoses under the hood revealed
only that I'd better change some vacuum hoses in
the near future, but none that are gone yet.
