Vehicle Production Year

I have a '69 1750 Spider Veloce (looks like a Duetto) with a '70 production
date.   The story at the time was that Alfa was unable to meet the US emission
standards for 1970 so they sold '70s as '69s.  I've never heard of a US spec
'70 Spider.  The '71 was the first of the Kamm tail Spiders and had a
different mixture control unit on the Spica pump.
