RE: game theory etc.

Well, there is something to be said for not passing on the right, as I found
out yesterday while trying to clear a line of more than a dozen slow cars
moving in the left lane of I205. Problem is that the road divides, and the
left lane goes more slowly to Salem and the Right lane goes more quickly to
Portland, so there is a good reason to be in one or the other, and I and
many others, did not consider it a problem while both lanes were going about
the same speed as my Spider, give or take 20. Now if this Maroon woman in
the more red Grand Am had not decided she needed the exact spot in the right
lane that I occupied, at an indicated 90 mph, obviously optimistic,
everything would be cool. As it was, I was relegated to the right shoulder
at a rather uncomfortable clip. Cant believe she tried to avoid any rebuke
for not looking or signaling by speeding up even more and by not looking in
the rear view mirror where the message was clear on my face and left digit.
Good thing this happens very infrequently, or I would be on a regular
mail-order for depends.

Richard

I agree with you and will NOT do it under any circumstances.

Neither can I.
