alfa digest & powell's books affiliate program

i set up an affiliate program with powell's books a long time ago, in a
different context, and never really did enough with it to make it work.

a digester suggested (offlist) using some amazon programs to get
contributions. i happen to hold amazon in particularly low esteem, but it
occured to me that providing links to car books @ powells with my affiliate
number might be a good thing to do:

/alfa/PowellsLinks.html

i just threw it together, it needs a lot of work, but there are links to
Powell's sections on Alfa Romeo, Racing Techniques, and Automotive History
and Biography there. let's see if this program actually does what it's
supposed to do.

under each of the large Powell's banners there's text indicating what
Powell's section the link goes to.
