Two car books for sale (minimal Alfa content)

Overflowing from my library:

* Strictly Off the Record, by Louis T. Stanley. Subtitled "Grand Prix
Controversy and Intrigue," and that about says it all. Stanley was the head
of BRM from the 50s to the 70s, and saw big changes in the Formula One scene
during his time. No shrinking violet, he calls 'em like he sees 'em.
Highly opinionated and entertaining, with lots of pictures. Hardbound, 163
pp. excellent condition with dustjacket and plastic "library" sleeve. $35,
now out of print.

* Triumph Cars in America, by Michael Cook. Against all odds, engrossing
account of design, sales, and marketing of postwar Triumphs cars in US right
up to the end from central figure. Recommended by late Pat Braden in SCM,
which is why I bought it. Softbound, 192 pp, excellent condition. $15.

Prices include shipping in US. Foreign shipping extra. Offers considered
if prices are too high.
