RE: Detension for bad spelers? / Spider hum

Spelers may be a typo, not poor spelling.

Irregardless is not a formal English word.

And now, back to Alfa issues.

Our 91 Spider is making a fuel pump like hum after it is turned off.
Happened one day with = tank of fuel and continued to < tank, then we
arrived home.

Car: 91 Spider Veloce

Mileage: 50K

First heard humming sound at stop light with engine at idle. Ambient air
temperature warm, in the 80s (F). Fuel level = tank. Continued driving
normally.

Turned off car, hum continued.

Car sat for 5 hours or so.

Started up, ran normal, no hum. Ambient air temperature now about 65 F.

After 20 minutes of driving, hum started. Intermittent.

No adverse driving symptoms. Continued driving 25 more minutes.

Got home, parked car in garage, heard hum.

Opened boot, felt vibration at the breather device.

Hum stopped, then started again for about 5-10 seconds. Stopped and started
hum sound several more times. Up to several minutes between the humming
sounds.
