RE: Cardisc file format

Ralph
You are correct, that does work for Win 2000, since Win2K is installed to a
directory called "WINNT". However Win XP gets installed to a directory
called "Windows". I have yet to get the original disc to run under WinXP, I
believe the updated CarDisc code is required. The sad part is that the
"updated" interface is even worse than the original from a functionality
point of view.

PDF is the only sensible way to go; however, there couldn't possibly be
sufficient economic incentive to do all that work.
Perhaps someone will create a labor of love in Adobe format some day!

I don't believe that WinXP has a folder called "Windows" that the
installation
looks for when installing. Try creating a "Windows" folder and when
installing
and it asked were to put it find the "Window" folder and install it there.
The
try to run it. I did this with Windows 2000 and it worked.
