Welcome home.   Phirst thing you should do, is ensure your spellchecker has
A L F A   loaded as a valid spelling !

Seriously though, I'd recommend you purchase Pat Braden's Alfa Bible and
also a workshop manual for the car.  The Alfa Bible goes through the pre and
post purchase inspection of an Alfetta, but the engine is almost identical
and the rest you will pick up from the remainder of the book.
