[DFW TX]Car Show Reminder

This coming Sunday @ Whiterock Lake:

The MAFFIA Car Club will be participating in the Italian Class @ All British
Car Day at White Rock Lake, 19th Annual Exposition of Vintage European
(Especially British) Cars and Motorcycles. Last years show saw more than 200
cars.

Come out and join us for our annual celebration of vintage motoring. Bring
any British or European vehicles that you care to display and compete for
door prizes and trophies. This event is open to show vehicles, drivers,
and everything in between. Prizes will be awarded based on popular voting by
participating vehicle owners.

This event is low key and casual. Arrive and leave whenever you want. Bring
a picnic basket, a servant with formal table and linens, or buy a hot dog
when you get there. The location is green and peaceful, so plan a lazy day
in the park. Most of the spectators are fellow enthusiasts, so theres never
been an instance of theft or damage.

When: Sunday, April 27th, 2003 (May 4th has been selected as a rain-out
day).

Where: White Rock Lake Park in Dallas, Texas. Vehicles will be displayed in
an open grassy area on the west of E. Lawther Drive. The display area
entrance will be marked with orange traffic cones. Although Lawther Drive
encircles the lake, there are a number of roadblocks. The park is easily
accessed from the north on Lake Highlands Drive at Buckner Boulevard or from
the south on Poppy Drive (behind Doctors Hospital).

Time Schedule: Registration will open at 10:00 AM. Vehicles may be
registered up until 2:00 PM. We will begin counting the votes at 3:00 PM,
with door prize drawings and award presentations at 3:30 PM. (If you need to
leave early and win a trophy, Ill make arrangements to deliver it to you).
