two liter questions

Gentle Alfisti,
Some feedback would be geatly appreciated:
-The aftermarket glass tube in-line fuel filter located just before the 
spider carbs has air in it during normal operation, and I have suspicion of 
poor fuel flow. Should the filter be placed below the carb's float level to 
eliminate possible gas lock? Will that work?
-Can a bosch bellhousing be used on an earlier Spica car? Should the timing 
pick-up hole be plugged with anything?
-The GTV engine has two oil pressure pick-ups. Can someone please tell me the 
difference between the sending unit under the No. 4 intake (large) and the 
sender beneath No. 2 exhaust. 
-Does a rebuilt engine have a half-life? How long can a rebuilt motor sit 
before it should be fired?
-Is anyone driving to FLA from N.J. for the AROC event?
