Modelle wrote about Click and Clack never mentioning Alfas.  I once wrote an 
e-mail to them about whether an electronic rust-preventive system, such as 
one with a sacrificial anode, could possibly slow the rust in my 74 GTV, and 
if so, whether they could recommend one.  After I completely forgot that I 
had written to them, I was surprised one day to see that they responded in 
their newspaper column.   Their answer was "no and no."  As I suspected, they 
basically confirmed that such a system would only really work if my car were 
submerged in salty water or buried.  They also suggested that my Alfa might 
be the sacrificial anode for all of the cars in the neighborhood!
