Stupid(?) Momo steering wheel question

Hi Group:

I just pulled the ugly OEM plastic steering wheel off my '87 Spider Veloce. To replace it, I bought a 350mm Momo "Shuttle" wheel, which came with a horn button, and thanks to a referral from a fellow Digester, I found a genuine Momo hub, too. So, I've got all Momo parts, and as far as I know, these things are all mix-and-match. All the wheels have the same size hole in the center and the same bolt circle, all the horn buttons are the same size, and although the hubs are vehicle-specific, the part that mates with the wheel is the same from hub to hub.

My stupid question is: What holds the horn button in place? The diameter of the horn button is the same as the wheel's center hole, so it's a not-tight-enough friction fit. The center hole of the hub is larger than the wheel's center hole, so what am I missing?

Thanks in advance for a possible solution.

Regards,

Dean
