Notice you haven't weighed in on the recent oil discussion.  

My manual calls for Agip Nuovo SINT 2000 or Shell Fire and Ice.  The Agip Nuovo is a semi-synthetic, I believe and the Shell is a conventional oil.  I have been using semi-synthetic in my 164S following your comments in a post to the Old Archive.  Two questions:

1.  Should oil consumption be better for the semi vs. the conventional oil?

2.  Is there any value to using fully synthetic vs. semi in the 12V?
