GTV6 crankshaft

Hello-
Has anyone here ever had their V6 engine crankshaft balanced, and if so:
1) What "Balance Percentage Factor" was used?
2) Was a significant performance gain realized?

If someone could "school me up" about balance percentage factor, I would 
appreciate it!
