"AE" Vs Borgo Pistons

I am rebuilding my '66 Duetto engine, and I have come across a new set of
"AE" 1600 pistons and liners. All my experience is with Borgo pistons, which
visually look much better and very pretty from a machinist's point of view.

Does anyone have any experience with pistons manufactured by "AE" Vs Borgo?
Is one better than the other, or are they of equal quality?

Secondly, as I remember, on the Borgo 2 liter pistons the wrist pin is just
ever so slightly off center, and there is a preferred way to orient the
piston in relation to the crankshaft. Arrow to the drivers side I think, but
that is an old, foggy memory.

Do any other size engines, or piston manufactures, have a preferred way to
orient the piston to the crankshaft?
