I realized this Sony CDX U8000 unit _NEEDS_ amplifier, that's why I
cannot find speaker wires.

Quoting the given site:

Requires separate amplifier, CD Changer control, detatch face, 
optional remote, electronic volume, walkman input, optional TV 
tuner control.
