re: GTV6 indicators
hi graham,
sounds like the short is in the turn-signal switch itself. the dangerous way of tracing a short would be to put a screw or nail in the fuse holder... then turn it on, & look/smell for the smoke. ;~) be sure to have a fire extinguisher handy, & needle-nose pliers to pull out the screw. you'll burn yer fingers if ya grab the screw directly, for sure!

<<<In troubleshooting my turn indicators, I find that the left side works fine,
however if the switch is moved to the right, the fuse immediately blows. I
have traced the wiring harness from both the right rear and right front, and
see no problems, I have disconnected all three 'slide on' connectors to the
tail lights, and disconnected the right front light, and it still blows the
fuse. I'm out of ideas. Any ideas of what might be causing this, or even
troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. I really don't know what
to do next.>>>
