I'm storing the hood in the guest bedroom where it will be safe. I'm doing the rebuild in the basement.

However, a few years ago I swapped motors in the living room of my old apartment (it was too cold to do it on the porch.) It was great watching TV while I worked. Hint from Heloise: Gojo is a great carpet cleaner.

The only hard part was getting my bike (Yamaha FZR400) into the elevator.
