Fw: DCOE vs DCOM

Hello,
I need some help, please, with anyone that has used the newer Weber DCOM
carbs
on their 2 liter engine.
Matt in California has a set and this is what he found so far.
"Do you know what it takes to use DCOM rather than DCOE carbs?  I spoke
at length with a seller of weber parts and he doesn't think they can be
made to work, he said he has even had a customer send him one and the
fuel delivery system in the DCOM is designed to deliver more fuel than a
2 liter can handle.  I have tried calling around further but couldn't
get much more information than that.  A local parts seller, Jon Norman
Racing, recommended just buying new DCOE's because in the long run time
and money spent trying to make other carbs work adds up to more than the
purchase of a set of new ones."
Note:These came from Italy and was told that they are off a 2 liter.
