Not a simple question; but, if there's a paper trail of regular 
maintenace and repairs (on early '87s in my experience that was a pricey 
trail of paper; but later and especially 3 litre cars were nicer), and 
if the car drives nice, tracks straight, no wind or transmission noise, 
uses no oil and has had a recent valve adjustment and timing belt. If 
all that is true and there's no rust (check arout the rear wheel arches) 
then Yes.
