164 Intake Runners

Hello All,
I was considering an intake runner "upgrade" on the 94 164LS 24v. There are
43mm and 45mm QV runners available from Alfa as well as Squadra-Tuning. There
seems to be some disagreement on whether they are a bolt on fit or not. Some
say yes... others say the plenum and other things (throttle body) need to be
replaced. All information from different mechanics that have supposedly, been
there, done that. Does anyone know? Does anyone have part numbers that they
know work? Very confusing.... (US spec engine btw...)
