Unfortunately have to sell Spider - $3.5K - SF CA

Folks,

About 3 months ago, I bought a BR Green 1979 Spider for about $3750, then
had it fully brought up to snuff (new red Konis, full engine service, etc.)
to the tune of $4K. The interior was already all new (new carpets etc.)so I
didn't work on that. The exterior is nice too; only rust is in the spare
well, where there is actually (despite it being a CA car) a rust hole. Rest
of body has no rust at all.

Anyway, two events mean that I have to get rid of the car: 1. My job
situation has changed, and I have to sell my house. That means I can't keep
2 cars. 2. The exhaust manifold gasket (?) is blown, making the car perform
well, but very loud, and I don't have cash to have it fixed.

That means I have to donate the car. It appears I could donate for the price
I paid plus most of the repair work, because my tax person says mkt value is
used for donation amounts. I'm pricing it at roughly what I would have
anticipated getting out of that. If anyone wants it, please mail me. I can
also send pics if someone wants.

Note that I have to get rid of the car by this Fri , Nov 8, so if you're
interested, email me and arrange to get drive it away prior to then.
