My Alfetta GT had operating vent windows (requiring about 75 awkward turns
of a knob to open fully!), but my Milano just has one big window up front.
There is a non-operating triangular piece in the back windows, but I've
never seen one of those made openable.
Not in an Alfa perhaps, but have you ever ridden in the back of an old Jag sedan? That vent window mechanism is just about the coolest thing ever.

How many of us out there were brought up in GM families and call the little
vent windows "no drafts"?
I, for one, have no idea what you're talking about, but I do remember riding in what I believe was an '83 Chevy Malibu wagon that had non-opening rear main windows, but an Alfa-style opening vent window. Easily the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a dark-colored car with a dark-colored vinyl interior and no aircon.

'82 GTV6 (why did they eliminate the roll-down vent windows from the Alfetta?)
