Engine ID help needed

I have a friend who has just picked up a Guilia and he needs some help
identifying the motor. It has a serial number of #AR00514*50398 and on
the front of the head 105 00 015 00 00. Can anyone look these up and
tell what he's got?

He's also got a lead on a cheap Spider in Brooklyn someplace. I'll post
