I think at this point I need to get new, or rebuilt calipers but if

the extra $20 or so to get the drilled ones?
time for the drilled rotor lecture. in deciding whether drilled rotors are
worth it, you need to understand their actual function.

drilled rotors have no useful effect on cooling of the braking system.

what drilled rotors are for is to provide a space (in the form of holes)
for material coming from the pads to get to (as opposed to sitting between
the pads and the rotors.) this material could be gasses coming from the
pads because they're hot, friction material from the pads wearing off, or
water from a serious rainstorm.

unless you are concerned with one of the issues in the previous paragraph,
there's not much point in drilled rotors.

Let's not forget the marginal savings in unsprung weight... ;-)

-Joe Elliott, who may actually put IAP's rather inexpensive drilled AND SLOTTED rotors on the FRONT of his GTV6 sometime soon (Tarox 40-slot jobs for the rear, I hope)
