Evil: RTV and moron mechanics

Just pulled the valve covers off my newly acquired 164S.   No gaskets 
just a shed-load of sealant.  Whoever put it on must have thought he was 
 icing a cake.

*sigh*   Next up is pulling the oil pan and seeing how much of that 
stuff took the grand tour.   Grrrr!  The damn gaskets are only $15 each 
why even bother?
