74 GTV Racing Harness Install

I would like to install a racing harness in my 74 GTV
for an upcomming track event.  

This past weekend I noticed two different mounting
styles:

(1) Eyebolts installed right below the rear package,
rear seat removed

(2) Bar bolted in behind the seats spanning between
the B Pillars, belts installed onto the bar. Rear seat
left in.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these bars
that is pre-fabricated or are they a custom build?

If I choose to install eyebolts, do I need to use
backing plates?
