You're assuming, of course, that the engine is warming up while you're
driving, and the car is not idling in the driveway to warm up.  Idling
the engine in the driveway won't do anything to warm up the tranny or
the diff.

Wrt oil temp, I have an oil temp gauge in my Spider.  I've noticed that
in normal driving it takes the oil as much as 5-10 minutes longer than
the coolant to come up to temp.
