To explain...  I have read some comments from certain Alfa people that considered the mass production Alfas not "true" ones, like the 6c 1750 or various 8C's, cars from one of Alfa's golden era.  Something like if Ferrari started making mass produced cars (which they did, but has the sense enough to call them Fiats).

Every generation has a change- transaxle cars vs. live axle cars, FWD vs. all the RWD...  Whatever.
