This month's 'Alfa Owner' has article on AR's being sold in Mexico!

One point of the article is the near total lack of any advertising or 
marketing.  I've never heard any mention of Alfa Romeo being available in 
Mexico until I saw this article.  

High prices!  Supposedly in Mexico, new cars are at least 20-30% more than in 
the United States.

Imagine...a 'grey market' source for Italian cars into the United States 
through Mexico?
