FWIW US Alfa relaunch now 2007

The Automotive News article states in part:

"To maximize its marketing budget, Alfa Romeo wants a full US lineup:
replacements for the 147, 156, Spider, GTV coupe and a full-size crossover
vehicle."

I am so glad that they are going towait until 2007 so we can all get the
Alfa All Road/X5/XC 90 or whatever that we have all been clamoring for!  But
then again, if it is good enough for Audi and VOlvo, maybe it is good enough
for Alfa, too!  And waiting for a full line to start a launch makes some
sense, even if the logistics seem pretty damn complicated
