fuel injector testing

I'm suspicious that my (V6) injectors might be no good.  Can I take out the
rail, fill it with fuel, pressurize it (with compressed air?), then apply
12V to each injector to observe the spray?  I assume the spray should be an
even fine mist.  If they don't look right, can they be disassembled to see
what's wrong, or would it be time to send them out to be rebuilt?
