I must confess, I always like to park as close as I can to a BMW, a Mercedes, 
a Porsche,  a Lexus, or anything else I feel a thief would rather have than 
my little Alfa.  Again, Darwinism.

It is said (by the auto insurance industry around here) that some cars a more 
stolen than others, and topping the lists are VW sedans, Corvettes (still?), 
Jeeps, and Toyota Camrys.  I leave it to you to concoct the possible range of 
motivations.
