Permission to gush...

Honorable Serpentites: I humbly request permission to gush on the
topic of Seattle Summer evenings and Spiders lined up under a quarter
moon, all with the scent of roasted garlic wafting through the air...To
wit:Last evening was the monthly NWARC club meeting at Lombardi's Cucina
in Issaquah (Actually, a few miles East of Seattle), and after the
meeting the sight of 5 Spiders lined up outside in the moonlight, each
one a different color and year, each with it's top down, of course, did
my heart good. Don't know if it's well known or not, but Seattle usually
cools off pretty markedly at night, often dipping near the fifty degree
mark, so a night like last night, where the temp was still probably in
the high 70's at 10pm is a rare and cherished thing, and the only proper
way to celebrate such an evening is to blast down the road with the wind
in your hair, and, of course, take the looong (and curvaceous) way home.
Which I did. Enjoy them. The Alfa's spirit cries out to be
driven! SSU, Patrick Hood, '78 Spidey
