historical question no alfa content

Dear Alfisti,

I know there are a lot of people here that are good car historians...

I remember reading something somewhere about the GT-40 prototype during its
first time in Le Mans (testing) taking of the track at speed due to poor
aerodynamics.....

Anyone know the details/can substantiate/elaborate on this?
