Aircraft fans

John,

Most aircraft gasper and recirculation fans get their power from the plane's
115-volt, 3-phase, 400 cycle per second AC electrical system.  I guess you'd
have to find some sort of crazy inverter to get that power from the Alfa
electrical system!

Its also worthy to note that these are high draw items even for airplanes
and they are some of the first items shed in the event of an electrical
malfunction.
