RE : Clunking noise @ Front suspension????

had a friend with similar symptoms on a
toyota :

tracked and handled fine. even tire wear.
funny clunking noises over bumps and
on initial application of the brakes.

turned out to be a disintegrated swaybar
endlink bushing.
