My Fuel Pump Don't Pump

Hey Everyone,

I am trying to get a mid-70s spider back on the road after a long lay up. The
Bosch 3 port pump is frozen. I've tried tapping and other less subtle forms
of motivation to no avail. I perceive just the slightest internal tap when I
hit it with the 12 volts (bench test, pump in hand) but nothing else. After
pricing new 3-ports, the prospect of having the old one rebuilt seems
intriguing. Anyone have any ideas/thoughts on the rebuild?

Option 2, which seems less desirable to me for some inexplicable reason, but
is probably the more prudent course is to replace the unit with the later 2
port variety. The specs show the flow about the same. What to do then with
the third port? I assume it should be re-routed into one of the other ports
with a T-junction but which port is which??

Help much appreciated, Albert
