Milano 3.0 Filter

I use the regular Fram PH16. It seems to work better than the Alfa OEM filters. I use ONLY Mobile 1 15w50 and get 6,000-8,000 miles per oil change. When I used the OEM Alfa filter after 6,000 the oil is darker than usual with the Fram filter. I don't know if I'm the only one who has experienced this. I would not use Castro anything personally. I had a bad experience with the GTX stuff once. It was like water after 300 miles. Also I heard (DISCLAIMER:do not know if this true) that the further apart the 2 numbers i.e. 10w40 worse the oil is, as far as holding up in extreme temps. What you are looking for is an oil that has numbers closer together like 15w40, 15w50, 20w50 (DISCLAIMER: again do not know how true this statement is).

YOu can remove the oil filter without removing the air filter housing, but I've never been able to do it. I've seen my mechanic do it a million time, but I can seem to get a goof grip on it without removing the air box.
