I believe "cogito ergo zoom" is actually the personal credo of David E. Davis
Jr., now of Automobile, but past editor of Car & Driver, where that twisted
bit of wisdom also accompanied his masthead.

I'm not a famous magazine editor, but I play one in my head.  My personal
credo is "When in doubt, accelerate".  If someone can translate that to Latin
I'll get a tattoo.  Actually I'll just do it in Italian, that's close enough
for me.
