Air Conditioning idle

You can add an idle air bypass solenoid to accomplish
higher idle when you turn on the air conditioning.

Look at the following site

http://www.electromotive-inc.com/sensors.html

and look for the idle air solenoids.

One side of the solenoid connects to the air intake
and the other side connects to the idle circuit. You
can then wire the solenoid through a relay to the a/c
switch, so when you switch on the a/c the idle
solenoid is activated.

General Motors makes a nice generic solenoid that has
two 1/4 or 1/2" ports for the inlet and outlet the
solenoid is round so you can pop rivet a hose clamp to
the fender to hold it in place. Goto your local
friendly parts store and ask them to help, I cannot
recall the part number.

I hope this helps.
