Split CV Boots for 164

David,

There was some debate on the Peugeot digest some time ago about a brand of
split CV boots called "Stickyboots".  These come as a kit of split CV,
special glue, grease and clips - I was interested in them because of a
split boot on my wife's Pug.  The general consensus was that these should
be avoided like the plague.

I seem to remember a post on this digest some time ago about CV boots for
(I think)  the VW Golf.  These apparemtly are exactly the same size as the
164 boots, but are made of a higer grade synthetic rubber than the Alfa
items.  Perhaps somebody could post details of this?
