Dear fellow Digesters, due to laser eye surgery I can not see well 
enough to type, I have to hunt and peck, never learned how to type with 
all fingers.  Please forgive my not writing the promised tech articles 
for novices.   Macular degeneration cannot be reversed yet.   I can only
