Joe, Joe, Joe -
Doncha' know, if GM is at all involved in the design, the motor will be
cast iron, with pushrods. The transmission will be Muncie 4-speed, but
will option a turbo-hydro 3-plus-overdrive. Or will that be standard
auto with a five speed stick optional. And the final drive. LIVE
axles, my friends. As FoMoCo once upon a time put in their Pinto ads,
bragging about a "Hotchkiss axle"! Like, wow, dudes.
But seriously, Fiat has a parts bin that would likely equal the size of
the General's. Likely be able to find all sorts of neat hardware to
assemble a fine car, with the design of the skin coming from any of a
number of GREAT houses that dot the landscape over there. (Gads, that
sounds great!)
Time will tell, no?
here's hoping

just hope Sandro manages to sneak in a DeDion in there...
