It only shows the quality of a lot of smog inspectors. When I got my set
from Rube Ericksson, he told me that he had to mount a tube to the
oilseparator, otherwise the inspector would not let it pass. Whether it
does anything for the California air quality or not I don't know... All
I know is that mine has two tubes.

I've had a Quadra Flow on my GTV here in CA. for 12 years. It has one 
fitting out of the front K&N filter housing that connects to the idle 
circuit. Nothing going to the oil separator. Hard to imagine a smog 
"inspector" knowing or caring about the difference between a Spica box 
and a Quadra Flow.
