RE: 10548 cam lift question on AD #706

Martin Krause asked about the lift on 10548 cam.

from my Alfetta Inspection manual.

Part Number - 105.48.03.200.01
Lift = 9.5mm

Intake & Exhaust use the same cam in the 1800 and 2000cc carb motors.

Intake:    opens (BTDC)    48deg
            closes (ABDC)    67deg
            Duration                295deg

Exhaust:    opens (BBDC)    60deg 20min
                  Closes (ATDC)    41deg 20min
                    Duration             281deg 40min

Note: the reason for the different duration on the inlet & exhaust, although the same cams
are fitted, is due to the different tappet clearances used, 0,4mm to 0,45mm on the inlet &
0,45mm to 0,5mm on the exhaust.
