Re: Towing Alfas

Hi All,

I used an elderly Ford Ranger 2.8l V6 to tow a 750F vintage racer and
105 series cars for number of years until it died an unnatural death
(overrevved). The replacement is a '94 ('93-'96 have better electrics)
4.0l Jeep Cherokee with 4wd. I decided on 4wd after being caught in a
Sierra blizzard on 395 while delivering my Lotus 61 Formula Ford to the
new owner. The Red Ranger had died and I had the Lotus in a 19' U-Haul
van (fits perfectly). Barely made it through. Also, really depressing
watching the awd Subes flying by.

The Heep (spanish pronunciation) tows the 750F and a gutted '59 Sprint
as is there is nothing back there. Should be a good driver for beach
and winter sports.

Cheers,
