RE: wipers

last time i faced this major dilemma, i think i put the wiper on the side of
the drivers wiper, closest to the hood (the bottom when resting).  that
seemed to be the most logical place from an aerodynamic perspective.  does
it do anything?  i'm not sure, i have tried the wipers with it and without
at high speeds to check.  can't hurt i figure.

On the 164 wipers (marked A R -- presumably Bosch) there tends to be a
vane on one side of the wiper -- should this be on <both> wipers -- and
which side?  (Anyone know if it actually <does> anything?)
